Default "The Jay Leno Show" Debut

Leno show reaches 17.7 million viewers - Yahoo! News

Quote:
NEW YORK – Critics may not have loved Jay Leno's prime-time debut, but 17.7 million viewers tuned in to check him out.
Quote:
Monday's premiere of "The Jay Leno Show," which transports the longtime "Tonight Show" host to 10 p.m. EDT weekdays on NBC, was slammed as a "cut-rate, snooze-inducing, rehashed bore" by Robert Bianco of USA Today. And that was even with the presence of Leno's much-buzzed-about guest Kanye West.
-----------------------

I watched it because I'm a Huge Jay Leno fan! I think the critics are very harsh! Jay is a funny, laid-back, Great guy! I'm going to continue to watch his Show!

Those of you that did watch it, what did you think?

I decided to watch it. It wasn't unlike what he did at the Tonight Show (same monologue style, same band, same Headlines, guests, music, and of course Jay is Jay). So if you liked the Tonight Show with Jay, then this will be to your liking.

Would have liked him to have a good musical act on his debut instead of that nonsense he had (Jay-Z and Kanye... blech... and Rihanna... meh), so that would be my only complaint. He had a good segment with Jerry Seinfeld.

I don't plan on watching it regularly, not because I don't like Jay or the show, but I rarely watch TV these days. All the action is on the internet.

I did, but could never stay up to watch it unless I had a huge nap before! I'm a Morning person, so staying up that late is highly unusual for me, even 11:00 p.m. But I did, and enjoyed both nights! Enjoyed Michael Moore's segment last night, and that man has a good singing voice, too, I thought!

I haven't seen the show yet but I may check it out this Friday night (assuming I don't collapse from exhaustion that is).

I saw every show So far but dozed off through the Miley Cyrus segment last night. I Love Miley Cyrus!

I know the episodes can be seen online, but I don't think we can in Canada.

Just tried to check out a clip, and that's exactly what I was told "not available in your location".

I still haven't seen Jay's show. I think you'll have to enjoy it enough for the both of us.
