Me and some of my friends are going on a canoe trip this weekend (fri. & sat.). A couple of us are leaving ealier (11:00AM CST) to go set up the tents and get everything ready. We're going to be going on the kettle river in minnesota and the water level is going to be twice the normal, so it should be a pretty sweet ride.
Definitelly gonna have pics when I get back, won't be able to get them up til monday or tuesday though.
I love canoeing. We had a really nice canoe but had to sell it a few years ago when we moved into an apartment. we had nowhere to keep it. wish we still had it because we do miss our canoe trips. We'll get another one maybe next year.

I've never canoed but I did row for a few years. It is so peaceful if your in a double or an eight when everyones working together well and the blades aren't skipping across the water.
