I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm really impressed with the new direction they've taken Batman in. The storyline is far less cartooney in nature than all the predecessors and it has a very "film noir" feel to it.
The next movie to come out is Batman: The Dark Knight and it looks to be every bit as good as the first movie, Batman Begins. I guess the rumor of re-making all the Batmans holds validity as this version casts Heath Ledger as The Joker.
i dunno, i loved batman begins, i love the old joker tho, he was by far my fav in all the old batman films, im not sure if i'll like this, but i'll probably give it a try.
I love Jack Nicholson but his role was too goofy in Batman, all of the roles were. I hope this new version of the Joker is off the wall as well but I want them to emphasize the dark side more.
IMHO, you should laugh at the Joker more out of fear than out of funny.
I like Heath Ledger; did a superb job in "Brokeback Mountain" and "Monster's Ball", but I think he'll have to go a long way to outdo Jack Nicholson, might have to eat my words and that's okay....
