I read through the list of movies for the nomonees and I haven't seen a single one of them. Actually, there isn't one I even wanted to go to, except Pirates of the Carribean. I liked the first one so I figure I will like the next one as well.

Even I saw a few of them. You can skip Pirates of the Carribean II as it does not add a single iota from the original, and part III has been guaranteed already.

I bought the second one for one of my husband's Christmas presents, and we were both quite disappointed! But on the positive note...they had both Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom!

If it is disappointing with those two in it (which would be a saving grace for many people), then that is telling even more of the quality of the movie.
