Held Hostage with an Elephant Gun

I'll add more details later but the story goes that my cousin Rick and I were held hostage at our Uncle Peter's house (the first one) by a Rifle Toting lunatic with a rifle. This nut demonstrated the power of this rifle by shooting a hole in one side of my Uncle's pickup (a truck he never owned I might add) and the bullet actually exited the other side of the vehicle leaving a huge exit hole. The pickup was a late 40's or 50's (restored and bright read) so the bullet travelled through double walls of steel without slowing down.

Uncle Peter did have a Red International; Dad thinks it was a 1952. Does the face of the lunatic come to mind...who did you think it was when you first woke up?

I didn't know that Uncle Pete had a red truck, I sure don't remember it. I do recall a blue chev shortbox but that wasn't it, although similar.

I'm not sure how much Rick and I have in common but I can say I've always liked the guy. He's a genuine character and has always marched to the beat of his own drum regardless of what people around him may think.

Now that I've considered it, I think it's safe to say that I do respect Rick the most out of all his brothers and sisters.

This particular dream only happened a few weeks or so ago when I started this forum category. I've always had wacky dreams and nightmares so I thought discussing them and seeing what they had in common with other peoples would be an interesting forum category.

Hostage theme often seems to mean that the symbols who/which are kept hostage are under threat in your own life. Perhaps due to real life stresses.
