I actually don't remember how I learned all that I did when I was younger. Probably from friends, tv, etc...as was mentioned. My mom never really sat down and talked to me about it, and my dad doesn't live with us. I understood how it all works, but the mental and social part of it is the problem. I believe that tv, movies, and all of that other jarble gave me a bad and confused view of sex. I've never had sex before but the views that have been put into my head about it, makes me think that if I ever do and even though it's with someone that I really truly do love, it'll turn me into some a-hole...disrespectful stereotype.

I think you are right......television or any media is a tough way to judge what a sexual relationship is all about. The one night stands aren't always hot and steamy. More often than not...about 5 minutes later you wonder what the heck you were thinking!
It was never all about the sex....it was about the love in the relationship. Out society has almost missed that point.

Bingo. That's kind of what I mean...it's like sex is becoming everything nowadays. Peers are only worsening it too, saying your abnormal if you aren't that way. Of course, those are the same ones having babies they don't even want and getting more emotionally wrecked than they already are. Honestly, who are they, of all people, to give you any crap over it? A friend of mine just started college and is already talking of finding a girlfriend, I just hope he doesn't fall into something he'll regret.

I think Bacon was referring to someone being so needy....they aren't careful who they chose to share their heart with.

Apparently someone has come up one or two Ice Houses short.
To the contrary, most often I know exactly what I was thinking 5 minutes later.
Hot and Steamy,

I'd have to agree with Merika on this one as well. Often it seems you missed the real person in the heat of the moment and get to see whats underneath after you've satisfied your anamilistic urges. I've had this happen in my case equally as much as the times when I didn't regret the act.
