A teen Dad
If you slept with a girl and a couple weeks later she told you she was pregnant and she knew that it was your baby what would you do?

Take responsibility for my actions, ask her what she'd like to do and support her decision. Personally I'd be totally against having an abortion but it's her body and would be her decision to make.

I did.
I wasn't a teen though but the circumstances are still the same. I didn't really like the mom much at the time of the split and came back because it was " the wrong thing to do for all the right reasons".
We've been apart for many years now and it's for the best. Not to mention that I have a beautiful daughter from the experience.

I would do the same thing as Paul.
I think its important to support the girl and her decision and not to leave her behind because this 'happened'.

Too bad that the majority of men who would do the right thing are members here. For the most part, men turn a blind eye and hit the road.
It's a sad stat but an accurate one. Of all the guys I know, I'm the only one who's regular on child support, visitation and involvement with my childs development. I think that really sux and those n0bs have no idea what their missing out on.

Regardless of age....the first thing I would do is have the tests done in order to make sure it was mine. In some circumstances this isn't an issue.....but in others it is.
My brother was told he got a girl pregnant. We all supported the girl....even when he kept telling the family it wasn't it. He went though the testing....and sure enough....it wasn't his baby at all.

I'm pretty sure my daughter is mine, the poor kid even looks a bit like me.

I feel bad for the guys who take responsibility for these kids and end up finding out years later that they're not theirs biologicaly. that's so sad for the whole family involved.

I think that guys who fall into this trap are a minority though compared with deadbeat dads.
I'll see if I can dig up a statistic.

I don't trust a word out of Maureys or Jerrys mouth. Those guys are in it for the drama and get ratings from other peoples issues.
I like Oprah, she's got a show that actually gives a crap about people, I believe Montel does too.
BTW, I don't watch daytime tv so don't ask.

I used to like Oprah but now I favor Montel and Dr. Phil. I need those two doses everyday. The Maury show got to be boring with all that crying over paternaty tests and Jerry, well, I threw that show out the window when he had the guy marry his horse on the show. that was it for me, besides, you can't hear a word anyone says with all those beeps! 8O
and BTW duke, if you don't watch daytime TV, why do you like oprah and montel shows? :P

The last Oprah and Montel shows I saw was several years ago when I broke my arm in a skiing accident and couldn't move for nearly a week.
Nothing to do, no working VCR, dvd player, nothing but daytime TV. To this day I'm not sure what was more painful :?

If I were going to watch a talk show....I would probably watch Montel. I've seen him a few times throught the years and really like him. Other than that....I'm stuck on Court TV or the Animal Planet during the day..mainly because I can listen and not have to stop what I'm doing to watch.
