Default How Often Did/Do You Read With Your Children?

What kinds of stories do your children like? How old were they when you started reading to them? Should reading to them start at the earliest age possible, say as..babies? Do you take turns with your partner reading to them?

My parents actually read quite a lot to me. Can't remember the titles though.

I used to LOVE to read to my Dad because he never learned how! He was willing to learn and I was going to teach him; but he got Cancer and passed away! I remember finding the book after he died that he was going to learn from, and I just cried and cried...

I think my Parents' lives would have been SO different and happier if my Dad had more education! He was SUCH a good man but didn't have many great chances in life, even from the start as a child!

I read to my kids every night when they were little. Just before bedtime. I loved it. Such a relaxing time for all of us.
