Default Rainbows

Just ask Dwoing and Duke how I feel about seeing a rainbow

According to Dave Dombek
Expert Senior Meteriologist
AccuWeather.com

Rainbows occur when light passes through water droplets and is refracted or bent. This results in a rainbow, which contains all of the colors of the spectrum. A rainbow from a hose, sprinker is formed the same way as a rainbow in the sky. Rainbows usually occur toward the end of a rain even (shower, thunderstorm, or steady rain). They sometimes occur when it is still raining, sometimes occur when the rain has already stopped. The key to getting a rainbow to form is having the sky clear in order to allow the sun to shine on the raindrops. Also the has to sun has to be low enough in the sky for this to happen. That is why you will almost never see a rainbow during the middle of the day, particularly from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sun is too high in the sky then, at least in the spring and summer. Most of the rainbows occur in the late afternoon or evening, when the sun is in the western part of the sky. Once in a while you will see a rainbow form in the morning in the east, and it shines on raindrops to the west.

I was asking for a description, .

If you are going to write down you are bordering on insanity I have a much harder time to dispel any accusation of craziness ...

Actually, I acted like it was the first rainbow I had ever seen, I went on and on and on about it....like I sometimes do hardly ever....once in a long while...never, as a matter of fact

thankyou luba! your kind word are alway really really appriciated!

ive never thought about publishing or having prints done.

i only ever had prints of some of my photos done once for a guy called Doug and his wife Terry who was very close to death at one point. Duke will know who i mean.

Well i dont know them but i felt very sad for them and i heard she loved beaches so i got some big prints of some beach photos id taken and posted the prints to where they live in south africa. i didnt tell anyone else id done it tho, well know you all know! but anyone else at that forum.

those are the only prints ive ever have done, i dont know if id ever want to make money out of it. i like making people smile tho, seems to be the biggest reward.

Personally, GG, I think if you published your very beautiful photos, the whole world can enjoy them, too! I think it's not a bad thing to earn money from the talents that were created within you! You do a great job and deserve to profit from it IMHO!
