So long as you're not smoking up as you explain this to your children ;-)

I'm blessed in that I was allergic to pot. The only drug which I thought was 'fun' was speed or Coke. Due to finances and being in my child bearing years....I gave that up in a jiffy!

Actually I had some of my best laughs on pot. The problem with any drug is the tolerance level as you referred to earlier.
I had one friend that would smoke up before work, several times through the work day and then a ton at night. Not only was it extremely stupid, but he was in debt up to his eyeballs because of it.

Good Lord! I have a hard enough time functioning with my regular brain....much less if I smoked pot before work!!!!!!
I live in an area where some parents actually condone and share pot with their teens. I find that INCOMPREHENSIBLE!

I've had some great laughs stoned, lots of things seem funny and where I live people, even the police are very tolerant of it and its a university city so its everywhere. People get bored of it after a while and it just becomes like beer...you might have some at the weekend but its no novelty...but the best laughs i've had are when I've been sober or had a few beers.

You know what Marika, if sharing a nail with my daughter wil keep her from becoming addicted to pot, then I'd definately do it. I know this might sound like a shock to most of you but consider the alternative, I have no idea my daughter is toking up. This way I know if my daughter is smoking pot and I know she trusts me enough to share the info.
I'd much rather have my child come and ask me about pot rather than living with the knowledge that she is experimenting but she can't trust me with the info. Punishing is not the answer as it'll likely alienate her farther from me. What's next, getting a call late at night and being asked to identify the body? I don't care about anything else except knowing what's going on in my childs life and feeling comfortable that she's comfortable in confiding in me.

Don't laugh mondo, I likely will in the next few years if possible. I'd love to get a LAN party together with you, wappy, cpl. no target, etc. That would rule :!:
Hell I'd bring my own PC if I thought we'd do it.

We'll probably have another Wolf Meet next year.
How about you try to join that one?
