Four years since the OD. Now Im clean and running an online network of websites. Life is much better without all the junk that "supposedly" makes things allright.

Well it was a number of things, but cocain would be the main drug of choice in those days. I actually overdosed from meth several years back. I had been awake for 8 days and the body simply could not take any more. I ended up going through a program in Arizona called "Teen Challenge". It was a difficult year but I got my act cleaned up real quick as I started to realize that I was throwing precious time out with the trash when I was messing around with that crap.

That's a fantastic story man, congradulations on beating it. The way you articulate the experience makes me think you should be a speaker for a local rehab clinic or something.

I spoke in front of 3000 at a fundraiser in Phoenix 2 years ago, that was enough for me.

I did work with the juvy department here in Reno for a while, but time is a serious issue with me at the moment. Maybe again in the future. We'll see.

Cocain is hard to walk away from. I dabbled with it some years ago. It's a great high.....but that panic when you are running out of it.....is a B*TCH! It's just not worth it.

Now, that I'm raising two kids alone....I don't have enough finances to even THINK about a drug habit. I even have to flirt for my beer!

I only tried coke once and that's because they were snorting it through a hundred dollar bill. Looked to c00li0 to pass up. I never tried it again as I know the dangers of the addicition with coke, not to mention I've seen what it does to people.

thankfully, i like beer to much to mess with anything stronger. even in my real partying days i would think "why bother? at least beer is legal.".

Congratas on your recovery, I am also a recovering addict. It's been about 5 years for me as well, That was a horrible journey in my life ( as I am sure yours was to) but I really learned alot from it so now as adults we can help educate others.
