im not agreed on that, there is a huge difference between her father spanking her and someone else.
as she gets older she will know the difference and who is considered allowed to deal that punishment and who is not.
by making the mother the only one to give out the punishments will bring resentment to the child, as the mum then becomes the bad person, the person always telling child off etc. punishments should be dealt out fairly by BOTH parents for a child to understand.
