I KNEW at least a couple of people would say this. I'm just not a big crier.
So, I woke up today, had coffee, and resolved to go get Andrew and spend the day with him an compliment him
each and every opportunity I had. Took him to lunch at an Indian restaurant, he and his brother went to the pond and caught minnows in a little net as I watched from the window with binoculars (
SO WONDERFUL WATCHING HIM DO SOMETHING NORMAL), then I bought him a bunch of new clothes because I'd returned all the Skull-Covered Crap he'd gotten out of the "Donation Box" to the hospital staff. He spent the rest of the afternoon playing with his sister in the pool before we picked up dinner which he helped make, and then dutifully did the dishes.
I'm gonna repeat this tomorrow, except begin earlier, and watch fireworks with my son, Andrew.
