We run alternative fuel buses in the Lower Mainland and I think they work just fine. I see them climbing steep hills with those huge cells on the top of the bus so I see no reason why they can't be used in other areas.
The only problem with Bus Service (at least here) is you simply have no idea what the Route means. Every time I get on a bus I'm about 50% positive it will take me where I'm going and that's not a recipe for success if you ask me. They really should simply highlight the bus route on a road map instead of list street names that mean nothing to most of us.
They should also consider giving buses there own lanes EVERYWHERE so they are never stuck in traffic. Why in the world would anyone pay to be stuck in a hot, sticky, cramped shoebox during rush hour?
