Adoption is usually a decision you don't think too much about until you are in the position where it becomes something you want to do or perhaps have to do in order to build your family. I think adoptive parents ofen times appreciate their children more so than those who give birth to their own. I always wanted to adpot an orphan from another country....just to give them a chance....but never was able to get far in the process. It's VERY expensive.

DA....I think you are spending more time looking at the end result....rather than counting the cost of getting there. The trick is....to find joy and fun within the cost counting time.

Everyone has tough times in their life. In reading the posts, Stoneheather and Star are both facing tremendous challenges. I raise two kids alone and have just about went broke waiting on the settlement amount to be dispursed. There are other people on here who also are going thru valley's in their life.

I'm not minimizing any problem or depression you may be feeling.....I'm only suggesting that you put them in persepctive and realize how many GOOD THINGS you have going for you. You are young, intelligent, have a career choice and the means to accomplish that choice. A wife and babies can come way later. Enjoy the NOW! Because trust me....it won't get much better along the way in terms of responsibilities and life problems.
