I'm very content with my DSL. I've got a 6144/768 Mbit/s connection and get a minimum assigned bandwith of 8128/832 Mbit/s, so I've never experienced a slow down due to heavy traffic. The few downtimes I've had over the years were caused by stuff like servercentre fires, diggers cutting through a cable in the neighbourhood and the like, and were solved quickly. And my current connection speed is due to 4 free speedupgrades, I started out as a 512/128 6 years ago. Still pay the same too.
