Man this really isn't my thing, even though I have wireless capability I'm still using hardline for both of my computers. The only thing I can suggest is check your online CP Settings (assuming your Router has an online Configuration Panel such as D-Link does) and see if there's a config issue there.

I guess the other question I have is are your Network Cards able to handle the higher bandwidth?

Lastly, I'd check your Windows Task Manager/Processes with the Router Installed/Un-Installed to see if there are any new running programs hogging up your RAM.
