The only "preferential treatment" I would demand anywhere is to be treated like a human being... and there's so much on the news about people being mistreated in every corner of this world that I probably would never even want to travel anywhere. (BTW: The movie
Hostel pretty much made me never want to step foot outside of my country.) If I did, familiarizing myself with the language as much as possible - like TKDLady mentioned - would be a good idea.
Does anyone know what the problem was in the video? Has anyone heard anything? If the man could communicate with others, that incident may never have happened in the first place.
