I can see your point. But maybe it is just someone who understands you for who you are and can change and roll with the punches, so to speak, as life goes on. Someone who is always there for you. It doesn't even have to be a spouse in my opinion. Actually, I think my girlfriend is more my soul mate. I wish she wouldn't have moved away.
