Default Re: Statistics?

I actually thought I understood the stats until the site move. In fact, this entire process has done nothing but show me how little I know in the grand scheme of things.

Even though our traffic stats have fallen some, they haven't hit the basement which is by far the most vexing problem I'm having right now. I was expecting our stats to tank and the fact they didn't pointed me in an unexpected direction and that is SEO in Yahoo, MSN, Alta-Vista, etc.

Essentially, we get indexed well in google but not in the other Search Engines so only google.com and google.ca users actually see us. This in itself has opened up a whole new can of worms for me to deal with so there will be a lot of changes coming on how I configure things within the site.

I'm hoping to have the forum updated within the next couple of weeks so I can start working on header continuity. The fact that the forum header doesn't match the main site is killing me and I'm really tiring of looking at it. Aesthetic is a big thing in my books so if the consistency sux, I can't sleep until it's fixed.

I also hope to be adding VBSEO to the forums within the next few weeks, which will clean up all forum url's much as SEF Advanced has done for the main site. Once VBSEO is up, configured and running properly, I'll be adding the Media Wiki Component for our Life Support Directory and finally an 00ber XML sitemap.

There's a lot of things coming in the not to distant future so please keep your eyes peeled for new announcements.

Thanks.
