I'm not pro nor against spanking, every situation is different as is every child. I only spanked my daughter once and it hurt me more than it did her. Spanking is not for me and did nothing to curb my behavior as a child, that doesn't mean that I hold anything against you if you spank your child. That said though, some parents hit their children unnecessarily because it's easier than actually dealing with the problem. I've seen this happen plenty and think it's just wrong.
