Content Management Systems (Alternative)
I was just wondering if anyone here has any thoughts on moving Lifesupporters.com to another CMS? The reason I ask is that I've hit a wall with potential as far as phpnuke is concerned (our current site software) because phpnuke isn't as feature rich/robust as I need it to be without adding modules that may increase server load while creating security risks.
In order for Lifesupporters.com to truly be considered the top level domain in the network I need:
- Forums with true child forum functionality (considering vB Advanced).
- Main page with wysiwyg editor interface able to create tables (for reporters who can't code .html by memory).
- True advertising interface where I have complete control over entire front page and no file restrictions (ex: flash, java)
- Dynamic header image generation.
- Integrated login with forum software (one login for members, two logins for staff, three logins for admin).
- Dynamic image based login confirmation (help keep the bots out).
- Secure anti-spam, anti-harvest based module system.
- Module based forum integration (forum software loads as a module within header and active block/module configuration).
- Robust WebLink or Directory Software.
- Online Billing System.
- Calendar.
- Integrated or Modular based Photo Gallery.
- SECURE!!!
I know it's a tall order but it's the only way I can do anything with Lifesupporters.com. I just can't continue to band aid this site together anymore because it's too much work and too much of a security risk.
Any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken
