Lol, OK Luba. My Mum woke me on 1 April to tell me that my Hall at Uni (I was home for the hols) had burnt to the ground. I got quite upset about the loss of my home from home and all my stuff before she owned up.

I was quite indignant typing this until I remembered that I played a similar joke on a friend (also on 1 April) when we were on holiday in Kenya. There was a constant feeling of unease about security, there was political unrest, burglaries and viloenbce at nearby houses and a bomb had gone off in the train station in the capital. I woke my friend and told her that there had been rioting in the street and the British Embassy were evacuating foreigners for their own safety, that we had to leave straight away. She was so relieved to find out it was a joke that she didn't get annoyed. I blame my friends, it was their idea but they decided I was the only one that could lie convincingly! :?

Also I put washing up liquid in my Mum's tea when I was about 8 (also an April fool)
