Well I had my first interview at a place thursday, I have my 2nd interview at the same place on monday.

If I get the job I would goto the different rig sites and set up the satellite communications, sat phones, cell phones, faxes and whatever else. Stuff I already know how to do or can learn easily.

It requires extensive driving (avg 10,000km a month) and you only actually work 1-2 hours a day.

Pay starts off at 70k a year, plus safety bonuses, plus $45 tax free a day.

I'd get a brand new company truck. So new they haven't received them yet. The new fleet trucks are fully loaded 2007 Ford F-350 SuperDuty trucks complete with satellite phones and satellite radio (sirius). I'd get my own personal blackberry to use for whatever, I get reimbursed for hotels and if I stay in a camp they pay me $65.

All in all I am really excited about this and I hope I get it. I could make upwards of 80k in my first year, plus I get all these perks. I love driving too so that's not a big deal. I'd drive all over BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
