I watched the most of the mini-series on Elvis last night on MuchMore Music and, first of all, the actor that played him did a GREAT job though I didn't think he looked very much like Elvis.

It provided a much more in-depth look into his life, much more than I'd ever seen or heard before; and as much as I love Elvis, it was disturbing to me to see some of the stuff I never knew..

I still love his music and will always thinkk of him as the "King", but I now think of him as more human with foibles like the rest of us...

It also showed how much Col. Parker was in control of his career than I thought...
