That is unusal in a cat, or at least the ones I had never felt the need to follow me around. My siamese cat was a bit of a snoop however and always had to check out new things. We think we lost her because of her "snoopiness". When we moved from South Dakota to California and the moving truck came with our furniture, we think she climbed in and got taken away without anyone knowing. I always wondered what happened to her and hope she found a good home somewhere.
