I don't think it is stupid. Marriage isn't for everyone but if you have a partner you can trust, who you love, who is your best friend and you stay aware that there will be bumps in the road then it can be the best way to live. It is definitely less lonely and you always have someone to share the ups and downs of life and living. I also think, as long as you are prepared the the changes kids bring then they add so much more to your life. I have had my ups and downs with my kids but I wouldn't trade them for the world. They are the best thing that happened to me. Go for it Twinkle.
