It's kind of funny you should post this, as i know a little bit about it, the main reason they are trying to hire non-english speaking workers now is that the mines can't compete in the global markets anymore becuse countries like China and Russia are using slave prison labor to mine coal, gold etc... and flooding the markets ...driving the price way down. So American Co's have to pay minimal wages to compete and make a buck and no one wants to do the job when they can't even feed their families. Who wants to do a dangerous job and possibly die in a coal mine for 10 bucks an hour? But i definatly don't think they should make a dangerous job more dangerous by allowing non-english speaking people to work along side english speaking people, that could be really dangerous and really stupid. If my frined or a family member died cause you hired someone who couldn't speak english, i'd own your company a month later!!!
