I don't know about this campaign. It might be a bit over the top, but I am not going to comment on this.

Interestingly, there is a big discrepancy for what people think of animals, and what people think of their pets, who more and more are becoming members of the family.

How far are you going to take it? That is the question everyone should ask.

I have no problem with people who eat meat. I'd appreciate it if people would not act as if I am a freak, when they learn I am a vegetarian.

I do have a problem with people who claim it is healthy for humans to eat meat of animals that have been mistreated extensively, as there is research available that suggests that the better the life a cow or sheep has, the better the quality of the meat she will become. Those people are mostly lobbyists for the bio-industry.

I do have a problem who call mistreatment of animals mistreatment if an individual commits an act, but refuses to call it mistreatment if a corporation / economic enterprise commits the same act. That is the politicians who are responsible for writing ridiculous laws, and making them even more ridiculous.

I do have a problem with the slaughter (and subsequent destruction) of hundreds of millions of animals because of export issues. Foot and mouth disease, BSE. Pigs' plague (if that is the correct term). Totally unnecessary, and a waste of capital as well.

And there are reasons to suspect that BSE is caused by the food the cows were fed. Yet, the idea of feeding cows and other animals decent food is so shocking, that it was not even made law.
And we will be wondering how it was possible that a future pandemic will claim so many victims
