When they are YOUR kids Twinkle....the crying and fussing doesn't bother you as much. They don't do it ALL the time....but they do it enough to where it's not that big of a deal. You can't always control their moods.
Duke....I do think kids behave better for their Dads than they do for the Moms. I'm not sure why. Maybe because their Moms are with them more and don't seem as 'special'...LOL!
Also, when mine were 9....they were easier to handle. Closer to preteen and teen though....they can develop their own ideas almost over night. There are still fun times and close times.....but you do feel it when they begin growing into an adult separating themselves from their parents and finding their own identities.
