From the news page,
For many of us, the day doesn't start without our morning coffee. In todayââ¬â¢s drive thru society, we're drinking more coffee than ever and it may not be just keeping you awake, it may be leading you toward the "big sleep".
A study published today in The Journal of the American Medical Association, researchers state that people with a genetic variation linked to slow caffeine metabolism may be at increased risk of suffering a non-fatal heart attack. Risk increases based on individual age and coffee in take.
Now I'm no doctor but non-fatal heart attack can't exactly be a good thing for your health either. The moral of the story is if you can cut down on the caffeine in take, maybe it's a good idea to do so. Just don't tell Tim Hortonââ¬â¢s or Starbucks I told you so, I don't feel like getting sued.
