I have 5 siblings but we are all about 4 to 5 years apart so by the time I became aware of things only 2 others were home. I was the baby. I love being in a big family. Holidays are so much more hectic but fun. We currently have 2 kids and when it is just us for the holidays, I miss the caos. Most only children I know tend to be too adult-like. They don't have enough interaction with other kids unless they are fortunate enough to live in a neighborhood with lots of other kids. Even then, the majority of their time is spent with their parents and other adults. I vote for big family as a kid, a small one as a parent
