One of the dumbest things I've done....and this was within the past few months....is that I guy I knew, who I hadn't talked to in quite awhile, sent me an updated pic of himself. I have NO IDEA why I did this....but I made fun of it to a friend of mine. I called him a 'goober smacker'.
However, instead of hitting forward....I had hit reply....and sent my comment to him.....instead of to my friend.
I feel so bad for having hurt his feelings like that....I think about it from time to time and it still really bothers me. I hate when I've hurt someone's feelings.
