I think we have dozens of unique numbers. And the thing is, if you make a mistake to fill out a form for social security, or student loans, they will be able to exactly tell you what the correct answer to the question is!
Everyone who has access to those data knows everything of everyone. That is scary.
I actually discovered I had a double in name-identity, who was born on the very same day as I myself. Which means that some forms do reach the wrong person. Great!
