I agree with Merika, hind sight is 20/20. I don't think that sexual immorality is a sin against God, it's a sin against yourself, stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself.

Let me give you a real world example of how good it can be if you do it the right way. They were little more than teenagers when they married, they didn't have a dime between them and they struggled to get through the great depression. They lived in a 10 by 10 apt. with a shared bath, they had one of those beds that folded up on the wall. They were poor, but they had love and they had each other. When world war II broke out he was too old for the service so he did the next best thing and went to the shipyards to build liberty ships. It was hard work and the days were long but they enjoyed relative prosperity and had a family. All the kids grew up and went to college and were prosperous as well. After the kids were gone they had their own business, restoring classic homes, like old victorians. He did the woodworking and construction and she did the cleaning and decorating. They were both hard workers, they made a good team and they made a bundle. They enjoyed good health for the most part but when he had a stroke at 90 and became partially disabled, she did not put him away in an old folks home. She clinged to him and cares for him to this day, for he is the only lover she has ever known and she is the only lover he has ever known. They are truly enjoying their "golden years", a shining example of what could be. Interestingly enough, none of their kids have gotten a divorce either, they had a good example to learn from.

Sure, God may forgive me for all the mistakes that I have made, but I will never know the special bond that is shared by relatively few. If you are ever fortunate to see such a couple, you will know it is a beautiful thing, more precious than gold to have that kind of love.
