Biblically speaking, there's a few reasons for staying a virgin until being married.
According the the Bible, when two people have sex before marriage they were to be married.
"And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife." Exodus 22:16
If the two people are already married to someone else, and commit adultery, they're to be put to death.
"If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel." - Deut. 22:22
If a man raped a woman, only the man would be put to death.
"25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.
26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:
27For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her. " - Deut. 22:25-27

Not only Does God command it, but when people go against it he judges them. Look at all the diseases going around and how they go around.
If God intended for people to have sex before marriage, would he allow this to happen?
Hebrews 13:4 says: "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but *****mongers and adulterers God will judge."
Just because you use a cantraceptive may make it safer from getting a disease or pregnant, but it doesn't save you from the judgement of God.

The act of intercourse was made by God for people to multiply and fill the earth, the hypothesis of evolution has skewed this and perverted what God has said.
Abortions are also way out of control, because God has been thrown out of every day life and thinking.
Whether or not the government law says abortion is murder, God does and says the punishments for it are VERY severe.
" 22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,
24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe."
That says that whatever the man does to the baby, so is done to him!

Now, I'm not saying I'm perfect and, trust me, I've been in many situations that I GREATLY regret letting happen.
However, I'm very thankful that all is not lost.
God sent His son to the cross so that all in despair and sorrow will not die, but live forever.
Mathew 16:26 says: "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"
Is it really worth earthly pleasures for a moment rather than heavenly treasures forever?
