and as far as I know, the management isn't there to have any opinion, but to provide good services to its costumers.

Sorry, on the spermicide jelly for women it is written "this is not an eatable product, it will not help you lose weight", etc. All costumers are dumb. And they have the right to prefer a specific product at a specific time.
What if they suddenly decided that Wallmart is bio and they'll simply sell only biological products because it is what they believe in - or it's where they have the biggest margins, if they say it's a business related decision. And then you'll pay everything 5 times more. It's about policy! When you are such a huge corporation, - they employ more people than you can find in 2 states - you are responsible for your costumers. This isn't about capitalism or democracy anymore.
It's about POLITICS!
