Default Views on strangers.

Many people (especially parents) teach their children from day one to be leary of strangers. This of course is good advice but sadly, somewhere it tends to distort our views of people we don't know and I wonder if it's at the root of apprehension in trusting new faces.

I caught a few of the closing moments on Dame Edna tonite and as silly as that show really is, she/he has some really uplifting viewpoints on the world around us.

The closing remark tonite was one that I found particularly optimistic in nature and I thought I'd post about it.

Dame Edna Says:

"There is no such thing as strangers, just friends that you haven’t met yet. "

It made me think that if we could drop our guard just a little (when your in a safe and secure situation) maybe we could treat strangers with a little more warmth and caring.
