Luba....I don't know if either the anger OR rage is 'more than'. What we DO have is a society who hasn't been taught to harness their emotions. They've been raised in a society which is far to permissive. I can remember going to church with my parents and being bored as H*LL....but you sat there, shut up and squirmed as little as possible. It teaches self control and not to act upon your first instinct.....something VERY LOST on most of the younger kids in society these days.
We would get a swift swat on the butt....now they consider it 'phychological' and put kids on drugs instead. Then....we end up with young adults with NO self control or will power.
It took several decades and 3 kids to see that my mother was correct in saying that kids won't learn discipline....unless they ARE disciplined.
