I feel a bit guilty about my choice, let's say I could have chosen Barry and tried to move. You cannot imagine the hussle that means in PAris, people are most reluctant to foreigners, plus the biggest problem here is that they don't make contracts, they don't declare their income and thus I can be in big trouble for my own papers given my status in France if I chose to live in such a place.
I mean it, nobody declares a dime when lending their house, I've tried moving once and made... 20 phonecalls? Maybe more? Not ONE person offered to do things right!
Plus, it would mean renting something all alone, which is a huge difference from the place where I live now. Not to speak about finding the right place and then moving, all given that I would be working in the mean time.
