I deal very well with it at the time and have a reputation for being calm under pressure but a few days after the crisis has passed, the effects catch up with me. I have to talk to close friends if I'm stressed, articulating my feelings helps me clarify what they are and enables me to do something about them.
I sometimes wish I was the type who was able to resolve things internally but these things are fairly basic and people tend to split into one type or the other - those that need quiet reflection and those that define themselves in relation to others.
