I have a stretch that my physical therapist gave me for toning my sotmach muscles to help my back. It works far better than any crunch or situp and it doesn't hurt my back at all, I believe it's actually considerd harder then a crunch or situp.
It's kindof hard to explain, so i'll see if i can find something on the net about it.
