I've had some weird dates that turned me off in the past. The one that stands out the most was a guy that I had this massive crush on for a couple years and finally he wasnted to take me out on a date! I was soooo excited and couldn't wait for this date cause this guy was HOT!
well, we go to the bar, have a few drinks, dance a little, laugh then we hop on his motorcycle and he takes me to his place. We put music on, started making out a little then he starts to poke my arms with his finger.
that was just a little too weird for me! I asked him why he was poking me like that because i had to ask! He said because that's how he gets the feel of a woman?!? 8O so, needless to say, that was the last date with this guy and i didn't think he was so hot anymore. LMAO!
another guy took me to this dancing club. we had dinner and the whole time all he did was stare at me. it's like he wasn't even listening to what i was saying, just stared and stared and stared and said nothing. that made me feel soooo unconfortable, I hated it! didn't go on a second date with that one either. he was a strange one for sure.
I would usually let the guy i was out on a date with lead the conversation and go with it as it evolved. I think the less you say about yourself, the better on a first date.
I've been with the same guy now for almost 16 years. i wouldn't change that to be single again. Although I had a lot of fun when i was unattached, I wouldn't want the stress of that first date again. but then again, nothing beats that first kiss. :wink:
