The Dutch climate is very mild. Most years we have snow, but that is only for a couple of days in most years, and that can vary from November to March. Our summers are reasonably warm, but seldomly we get temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius.

Hard to imagine, that in Canada, which we associate with cold winters, has such warm summers. Lesson learned.
I learned something new too about the dutch climate.

It's funny how most parts of the world, including the states, think that canadians live in igloos. A lot of people think we have winter all year round here which is so far from the truth. I grew up north of ontario (7 to 8 hours from here) and it's so much colder there and the winters are really long with tons of snow.

I still hate the winters. I hate snow. I like summers because everything is so pretty and green. in winter, everything looks so dead. that's what i really hate about it. it's depressing!

Our summers here are super humid. that's why they're so hot. it's hot and sticky weather. the temperature was 32 yesterday but felt like 42 it was so humid.
