There are spaces and there are cars both designed for high speeds. The Interstate really isn't one of them, and most people don't have cars equipped for them.
If you insist on going 90 please make sure your tires are rated for it. When I say this I mean the speed rating. You can find this designated by one a letter in the model of your tire. Here's a chart for you.
M 81 mph 130 km/h
N 87 mph 140km/h Temporary Spare Tires
P 93 mph 150 km/h
Q 99 mph 160 km/h Studless & Studdable Winter Tires
R 106 mph 170 km/h H.D. Light Truck Tires
S 112 mph 180 km/h Family Sedans & Vans
T 118 mph 190 km/h Family Sedans & Vans
U 124 mph 200 km/h
H 130 mph 210 km/h Sport Sedans & Coupes
V 149 mph 240 km/h Sport Sedans, Coupes & Sports Cars
Also, you say you speed because you fall asleep. Going faster might just make you a faster moving asleep driver. I'd rather be hit by an asleep driver going 60 than an asleep driver going 90, though either way wouldn't be to pleasant. The best thing to do is pull over on the side of the road and walk around a little bit. Move your legs, get your blood flowing again, take some caffeine. Driving drowsy is as bad as driving angry.
