My kids are very pale with blonde hair. people have asked me if they are adopted. I'm anglo-indian - you've seen pics of my sis and I. we're a very light brown, sort of tanned looking i guess. Much depends on the specific ethnic mix, my dad's family come from the punjab generations ago, they were the group that emigrated to kenya and uganda.
Is skin colour that important to you? Does it make you feel different? I bet with the last girl it was more cultural issues, rather than skin colour that were the problem.
