I always wondered how it worked out when people became roommates with strangers that they may or may not make friends with. I would be miserable living like that. I would rather live in a one room apartment by myself than share even a big house with a group of roommates.

Star is probably right...in that there isn't anything they can do until your lease period is up.....but you may want to start looking around for another arrangement before the end of your set lease time. It's not worth living with people who don't make you feel like you have a home.
