This isn't true of ALL guys.....but a whole bunch of them take any such interaction as a 'hint' that you are interested in them. This can even happen between someone you work with and think of as a friend.
I used to go out for beer and such with guys I considered friends and I SWEAR by the end of the night they would think we are 'dating'. I think it's the most annoying thing in the world.
If he's a horny old coot....make it work for you. Flirt till he signs on the bottom line. LOL!
