I was wondering about this based on a quote from Paul C. in another thread which said:

I wonder how many of us have spent more time looking for the right person for ourselves.....rather than reflecting on if we have anything of substance to offer someone one else?
In other words....we seek someone to bring us happiness...instead of focusing on if we are capable of bringing happiness to someone else.
If I love someone enough....I'll go the extra mile. It'll be far and few between though. I end up making men miserable. After doing it several times....I've decided to stay single.
