ok i was thinking, maybe i should ask P to come with me to the funeral(provided he dies soon) she owes me a few in the favor bank. The benefits would be a non family person around, i would have a few more chances to progress the friendship into more. There would also be fringe benefits of making it seem to my extended famly that i can have a beautiful, nice girl,( i wouldnt say either was if she is my gf or not). Though that reason feels more shady.
downsides would be that i might come off as too needy.
Im pretty sure that she would go if i asked her to.
